STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS

RECOGNIZED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF SANTO TOMAS OFFICE FOR STUDENT AFFAIRS

STUDENT TEACHERS' ASSOCIATION OF UST (STAUST)
The Student Teachers’ Association of UST (STAUST) is the governing body of all pre-service teachers of the University of Santo Tomas which aims to carry out the goals of a competent, compassionate, and committed Thomasian educator with mastery of subject matter and sound pedagogical strategies. It commits itself in joining the the College in their mission to form competent, compassionate, and committed Thomasian educators through active involvement in curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular endeavors geared towards the holistic formation of the University’s teacher education students.​
ELEMENTARY EDUCATION SOCIETY (EES)
The Elementary Education Society (EES) is a college-based organization composed of students taking up Bachelor of Elementary Education major in Pre-School Education. The Society provides various activities such as seminars and workshops intended to enhance the skills beneficial for pre-school students in the future. It envisions itself as a leader in developing innovative thinking, creative skills, and global outlook through lifelike learning experience as well as insuring global competitiveness among its members.​
GUILD OF THOMASIAN SPEDUCATORS (GuTS)
The Guild of Thomasian Speducators (GuTS), in line with its mission to bring its members together for the furtherance and development of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), seeks to facilitate the learning and enhance the abilities with special needs from the university’s partner institutions. The organization helps future special education teachers prepare for their chosen profession of providing service to gifted individuals. It seeks to develop into a society with linkages to various national awareness and support organizations for exceptional children.​
LIBRARY AND INFORMATION SCIENCE STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION (LISSA)
The Library and Information Science Students’ Association (LISSA) serves as the official student organization of the LIS students of the University of Santo Tomas comprised of aspiring Library and Information Science professionals. The organization was formed to cater the curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular needs of its members. It has been a keen participant in numerous college and university-wide activities, as well as off-campus activities such as library tours and outreach programs among others and has produced successful librarians and information professionals in the field.​
PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION OF NUTRITION - OMEGA CHAPTER
The Philippine Association of Nutrition – Omega Chapter, a student chapter of the Philippine Association of Nutrition, Inc., is a duly recognized student organization consisting of students of Nutrition and Dietetics. It aims to advocate proper nutrition and healthy living among its constituents, the Thomasian community and the nation as a whole and aims to uphold a sense of unity, harmony, understanding, and personal growth among its members. Moreover, it also promotes nutrition consciousness and provides technical services by spearheading worthwhile activities to fulfill its objectives, both in the University and in the community in support of the PAN, Inc.​
PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION OF FOOD TECHNOLOGISTS - EPSILON CHAPTER
The Philippine Association of Food Technologists – Epsilon Chapter (PAFT) is the only recognized organization for Food Technology students of the University and a student chapter of the Philippine Association of Food Technologists, Inc. It is a non-profit and non-political organization which aims to promote goodwill among members and alumni to represent the institution in PAFT Inc. and to willingly participate in its activities and constantly uphold Thomasian tradition of excellence by fostering compassionate, committed, and competent food technologists.​
ROTARACT CLUB - EDUCATION UNIT
Rotaract implies Rotary in Action. The mission of the Rotaract Club of UST Education Unit is to provide an opportunity for Thomasians to develop themselves socially, professionally, emotionally, and intellectually; to enhance their knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development; to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between people nationally and internationally through a framework of friendship and service. 
PAX ROMANA - EDUCATION UNIT
As the religious student arm of the College, the Pax Romana Education organizes various activities for the formation of the moral, religious, intellectual, social, and apostolic attitudes of a Catholic individual. It is composed of students united by Catholic faith, and the passion for serving God and His people. The organization also serves as avenue for the activities of the Religious Education majors of the College.
UST SCARLET - EDUCATION UNIT
The UST Scarlet - Education is the Filipino-Chinese, multicultural and socio-civic student organization of the College of Education, a unit of the university-wide student organization. It provides activities such as exchange of Filipino-Chinese traditions and cultures. It aims to create and foster better relationships among and between Filipino, Chinese, and other students from different ethnic or cultural backgrounds.
RED CROSS YOUTH COUNCIL - EDUCATION CHAPTER (RCYC)
The Red Cross Youth Council - Education Chapter, a college-based branch of Red Cross Youth Council. It educates youth and provides opportunities for directing and harnessing their energy and idealism into worthwhile activities such as blood-letting activities and basic and advanced first-aid training seminar-wokshops. The RCYC-Education Chapter works hand in hand with the College's Crisis Management Committee to ensure the safety of the students during calamities and emergencies.
COMMUNITY ACHIEVERS - EDUCATION UNIT (COMACH)
Community Achievers - Education Unit is a college-based and community service-oriented organization COMACH is a community service oriented organization that aims to implant the seed of social awareness in the heart of the students through their keen observation on what actually exists, producing model Thomasians that has more human understanding. This organization will be known for being true to its words and actions that responds to the needs of our society, and will induce cooperation and unity among members.
EDUCATION PRIME MOVERS (EPM)
Formerly known as the Rhythmyx Dance Troupe, the Education Prime Movers (EPM) is the official dance troupe of the College of Education. The group performs various genres from performing arts to contemporary dance to hip-hop. In its effort to translate Filipino culture into the modern age, EPM will soon showcase patriotism through the art of dance.
