SEMINAR ON INNOVATIVE ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN NUTRITION AND DIETETICS HELD

The Nutrition and Dietetics Department, in support of the College of Education’s Project ELATE (Enhancing Learner Agency and Trajectory in Education), sponsored a seminar on Innovative Entrepreneurship in Nutrition and Dietetics last February 16 at the Albertus Magnus Auditorium.

Invited guests were Beatriz Dykes, Ph.D., faculty consultant of Lehman College in Ohio, USA and Ms. Marie Ann R. Abacan, RND, an alumna of the UST ND Department. Dykes shared her insights and experiences on managing the practice of Nutrition and Dietetics from the lens of entrepreneurship while Abacan talked about “Breakthrough Thinking Practices for School Children”.

Sophomore and junior Nutrition and Dietetics students actively participated in this half-day seminar.
