UST GuTS SPONSORS BRAILLE TRAINING
The UST Guild of Thomasian Speducators (GuTS) sponsored a one-day Braille training workshop to a select group of Special Education majors last October 26.
The workshop was facilitated by Evelyn B. Caja, Principal of the Center for Developmental Intervention Foundation, Inc. and a Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Teacher recipient in 2002.
The workshop (venue: Philippine Children's Medical Center in Quezon City) covered basic and advanced lessons on the use of Braille as a tactile writing system.
