DEAN DE GUZMAN CONTRIBUTES A BOOK CHAPTER PUBLISHED BY SPRINGER

The College dean and an alumna of the UST Graduate School wrote a book chapter for a book published by international academic publisher Springer.

The book chapter titled “Moral Sensitive Practice in Academic Deanship: Does it really matter?” by Dean Allan de Guzman and Maria Rosario G. Catacutan (now with Strathmore University in Kenya) was published in Springer’s Fast Forwarding Higher Education Institutions for Global Challenges by Springer in the Netherlands. Ismail Hussein Amzat and Byabazaire Yusuf were the book’s editors.

The book, published last November, addresses various 21st century questions and challenges, especially the role of technology in upgrading teaching and learning in today’s society, and the role of higher education institutions in improving standards of living, economics, society and sustainability.
