FILIPINO FACULTY IN PATAS NATIONAL CONGRESS

Two faculty members of the College’s Filipino Department were plenary speakers of a national conference on translation. Drs. Arthur Casanova and Imelda de Castro were plenary speakers during the First National Congress of the Pambansang Asosasyon ng mga Tagapagtaguyod ng Salin (PATAS) held last December 7-9 at Far Eastern University.

With the theme “Pagsasalin sa Pilipinas: Estado, Praktika, Etika”, Dr. Cas

anova presented Teatro at Pagsasalin while Dr. de Castro spoke on Edukasyon at Pagsasalin.
