BARCELON RECEIVES NBDB GRANT


Dr. Eufemio G. Barcelon of the Food Technology Department was awarded a grant by the National Book Development Board (NBDB) for his manuscript on Street Food Safety: A Primer for Philippine Street Foods.

The awarding ceremony was held last February 10 at the NBDB Prestige Tower, Pasig City.

A product of the University of Ghent in Belgium, Barcelon specializes in Food Engineering and is currently handling Food Technology courses at the College of Education.
